    Default Green-Breasted Mango

Another hummingbird from Costa Rica. This time a Green-Breasted Mango male. I did a little flower repair in CS5.

Doug, This is spectacular. The pose and the fanned tail feathers with their beautiful colors makes this a winner.

Love the composition and colors, the tail feathers are a bonus.

Doug, the light looks good, and I like the composition a lot. I love the pose with that puffed-out chest; who says pollinating flowers isn't manly work?

    Cheers,
    Greg

PS -- Good job on the flower repair. I remember that top bud had a little insect damage but you sure can't tell here.

Oh Doug this is pretty darn nice!! I love the iridescence (especially the blue tail feathers), and the flower looks great too.

Hi Doug, Nice vibrant color both on the Hummer and flower and you got to love the fanned tail.

beautiful colors, pose and sharpness. I would personally prefer a slightly more uniform BG

Hi Doug, your comp works well, and I like the angle of hover here. Lovely colours throughout the HB, especially on the fanned tail. ( is that the effect from the flash in that area? ) How do you find CS5 and any major improvements apart from the content aware scale?

Hi Stuart. The tail feathers don't look any different due to the flash. CS5 is a substantial improvement from a memory usage standpoint on the Mac. The features aren't a major upgrade with regard to my workflow. And my two most used plug-ins do not have 64 bit versions available for the Mac.
