    It`s a common bird in Greece
    This shot was created in Chania Crete last month
    Canon 40 D Canon EF 500mm + 1.4x TC
    1/500 f 5.6 iso 400

    sharp and nice from edge to edge :), the BG has some nice gradations too.
    I wish the head a little more to the right so as to see the bird in half-facе.

    Nice composition and beautiful bg !

    Agree about head angle.
    A bit less of a head turn would likely also have shown a catchlight.

    One amazing BG Manos !!!! Agree with the slight head turn and would like seeing the bird just a bit more to the left Feather detail and feel are very nice Big Congrats !!!!!

    Those background colors are superb! I like the perch with its burgeoned tip - a nice sign of things to come up here in a couple of months :-) First thing I thought when I saw this image is how "owlish" this little guy's expression looks like.

    I love the side lighting Manos it really sets the mood in this shot a wonderful bg and details...
