Photographed this with Roman K. about a month ago. We were working on getting collisions inside soap bubbles and got this while tweaking our settings, prior to getting what we were really after.
    Canon MIII
    180mm
    1/125 sec @ f/18
    3 strobes
    Plain Water - Gold b/g
Cropped (from both sides and lower portion) - I would have liked to have included the entire ripple and reflection, but that would have required some PS work that I did not want to do. Mainly because I went trigger happy and did not allow the water to settle in between shots. I usually try to avoid getting so many specular highlights but thought it worked with this image. A bit sharper would have been better for me but I kind of like the shape.
If I forgot any details hopefully RK can chime in and elaborate.
Thanks for looking and a usual c/c are welcomed and appreciate it.

Hey Susan, it must be fun doing these as you never know whats going to happen. It looks like a glass mushroom. Well done.

Susan, Beautifully done. I like the sharpness and the color. The starburst is a nice touch.

Liquid copper or liquid caramel? It's deliciously lovely either way. ;)
