    I like the picture, one suggestion, darken it just a bit. Looks like the brightness on the beak is overpowering the bird.

    Now that is one wicked-looking bird! Looks like it's wearing a turtleneck too :-) Interesting pupil, like those of some oystercatchers. The leathery texture is nicely depicted, and you got a nice BG. Although the comp is good as is I feel it would be a bit stronger if cropped a bit at right - perhaps about 1/3 off of the space behind the head.

    Interesting looking Ibis, and one I havent seen before. Good exposure on the head, and I like the two tone BG. Another vote to move him to the right a tad.

    First time that I see this species. What a cool bird! I love that tine red ornaments in the head and the black skin. The light is a bit intense to may taste but the portrait works very well for me. I like the out of focus BG and the fantastic rendering of the details in the head. Thanks for sharing :-)
