    70-300 f4.5-5.6 VRII on D700 @300mm hand-held. Manual exposure mode. ISO 1000 f5.6 1/1600s.

    No fish but still happy ;)

    Hi Desmond - id be smiling also - couldnt ask for better eye contact - might just try and lighten the eye thats is shadow just a little. Nice detail in the underwing area - courtesy of solid techs.

    Hi Desmond, Agree with Lance regarding lightening the eye but otherwise nice wing position,HA and position within the frame...

    i got two things.....nice job! and i wished the D700 had a crop factor. i'd have one in a heartbeat!!! i do agree with lance about the lightening the eye.

    Just the eye Desmond !!! Sweet capture !! Most subjects with strong eye contact are appealing !!!

    But if the D700 were a crop factor camera, it would not be a D700 anymore, Harold. It would be a D300. :)
