Hi Bill, I really like the sketch treatment and your signature Fractalius style. The water line seems a bit centered vertically to me, but I have grappled with this issue and don't really know what the traditional wisdom is. Does not detract from the charm of the image in the least to me. Nice!

Bill, I like the sketch details and the pose. Very nice HK look to this. The reflection looks very real. My personal preference would be for a bit more room on the top than the bottom-but w/ reflections centered is the way most folks go and is perfectly fine.:)
Lovely sketch treatment, Bill. Nice pose and I love the symmetrical view with the reflection. Like Denise, my personal preference would be to have a bit more room on the top and a little less on the bottom.
Bill,
Greetings. Nice looking sketch... I think it would be great if there were just a bit of water (ripples) sketched in around the ankles and just a dash more sketched in at the foreground, er, hip. Agree with the spacing - more on top...
Cheers,
-Michael-
Appreciate to feedback. Kerry, and others in regard to composition. The "traditional wisdom" (nice description Kerry!) is that symmetrical elements need to be centered to maintain compositional balance. This is a widespread belief, though as in any rule it can be ignored. I consider the bird/reflection to be a top/bottom symmetrical element. The horizontal is not symmetrical, however, and centering is not called for. regards~Bill
Nice image and application, Bill.
I agree with the others on a little more room above and below. But as all say, your image ... your vision. It just seems a little tight as is.
