I don't know if this is a sketch? This started out with a backlit image and I added to that effect in ACR and finally ran Topaz clean2. C&C welcome.

Hi Dan, great to see you here again! This is lovely. I do love the merging of the bird and the bg via the high key look and the delicate Topaz treatment. I would be tempted to clone out the white specular highlight just to the right of the bird's tail. Beautiful!!

Dan, beautiful treatment here and I just love the soft texture of the bird's plumage. As usual your chop takes it over the top :)

Dan, Great to see you posting here. You have been missed! I love the high key look and the Topaz Clean adds some interest to this. Love the chop and the delicate feel to the birds wings.

    Dan,

Greetings. The feather texture is great, I wish there were some in the whites (feathers). Perhaps, a layer with the contrast pumped up in the whites (forgetting what it does to the darks), then the topaz work, and finally mask/blending the textured whites back? Just a thought...

Like the overall look a lot.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-
