    The dark linear BG above the birds head is a distraction for me.

    The details and colour look good. And you've got a nice pose.

    Hi Stuart - you have captured the colours of the upper body quite nicely, Good HA and eye contact and food is a bonus - agree that the dark line that intersects the head is somewhat distracting.
    Good show :)

    Stuart, good advice given above. The bird's exposure is well handled and the backround can be an easy fix. I might crop a small bit off the left...

    Sweet re post Stuart Looks very good !!! Glad your going after grackles, when done well like this are a joy to see !!! ... btw I did not noticed the stick growing out of his back till the prominent by the head was removed !!! Excellent !!!

    You nailed the exposure on that common grackle to get his beautimous iridescence!
