    Osprey arriving with what apperas to be moss for the nest...perhaps to make a soft lining for new born chicks or for the eggs that will soon hatch.

    Ken, I like the composition here and BG.
    You can try to pull more details off the white on the left wing, and sharpen a bit.

    Hi Ken - compositionally I think I would rather see a little more of the nest - the stick sticking up although it has moss visible on it just doesn't provide enough of the story - FOR MY TASTES.
    Like the pose and the action - just needs some tweaking to get the most out of it. Needs some additional sharpening and as mentioned some work on the whites will improve.

    Agree with comments Main thing is the finishing punch !! PS wise cold be better Far wing a little light and rest in shadows, exposure is fine, from the camera point did as well as can be expected !!!

    Hi Ken, I feel you handled the technicals well in a contrasting lighting situation. It would have been nice to show the nest(as long as there wasn't alot of separation between the bird and nest) However the bird is the subject and you captured a nice position.

    ken, i wished the natural light would have hit the face of the bird. would make processing a lot easier and it would look better. i do like the position you caught the wings in and agree that more perch/nest would be better too.
