    This was more of a grab shot, as this little Grebe was just chilling, and then all of a sudden, took off across the water as if playing with its self. Taken at the Mankwe hide in the Pilanesberg nature reserve in overcast conditions. As its a grab shot, maybe you can forgive me for being slightly past me. LOL.

    Really like the pano frame for this, Stuart - it gives plenty of room for this grebe to take off. To my eye, the droplets coming off the right foot plus the left foot just touching the water - give it great action. Sharp on the eye, nice EXP. I can't quite figure out what the right wing is doing. Nice grab shot!

    I think your choice of crop works perfectly here Stuart as I like the action captured.
