Default Staring at me from the orchid

Captured at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota, SW Florida. I was amused by the "little creature" which seemed to be staring at me from the middle of this orchid.

    Olympus E-400; 32mm FL; ISO 800; 1/160; f/5; handheld.

Yes, I see the creature too!!! It looks like a friendly old lady and the lower petals are part of her dress :)
This could also work cropped as a vertical and if you could, making the left side as light as the right one would improve it, IMO.
Cropping may take care of that issue, if you are going to go centered, symmetric works best.

Cool to see this. Looks like an alien to me. I agree about the crop suggestion.

I love orchids for their "alien faces" - especially when you get in really close and see them staring back at you! I like the 3-D feel this has to it, Phil but agree that cropping some to get rid of the BG would be a great idea. I think it would bring even more focus to the "face" and tell the story even better.
