you are soo lucky mate you get these birds and i get a Mute swan lol.

Excellent capture, might be tempted to clone out the lower right branch, whites look a tad hot maybe a slight cool down in PS

    i am so jealous...

Great capture H. Love the open wing position and intense look. I would also clone out the LR branch.
Wish I could have been there with you guys. :(

Hi Harold - echo peters comments - glad you are making the most of the opportunities.
The high SS has done its job - like the sharp wing tips.
    Good One MR H. :)

... Peter .. I'll give you two perched and one flying for the mute swan :)

Like it a lot Harold, like having some landing area for the bird rather than a tight shot !! Branch don't bother me much since they are part of nest but not opposed to evicting !!! Whites don't look bad at all, the far leg might be a little lighter !!! We are going to hit them again !!! :)

Hi Harold,Agree with most comments above. Very nice wing position. Overall exposure looks OK with the legs being on the edge but I can see some detail...

hehe I will trade the Queens own personal collection of Swans for a week with the Ospreys, somehow a starling just doesnt cut it compared to these fab creatures.

Closest I can get is them in a bird of prey sanctuary, but thats not exactly natural now is it ;)

The mute swans are lovely, bit aggressive on a saturday night, darn ruffians but not too bad :)

How many mute swans can I get for four left to right arrivals?

Nice capture Harold...knew you would get hooked....I'm going back again also...probably a few more times...how can you stay away?
