    Default Red-winged Blackbird

I went to a local pond this morning to look for a Moorhen, which was there but not too cooperative. Instead I had some fun with Blackbirds. Ideally, the bird were angled a bit more toward me but I liked the shape. I had to add a bit canvas on the left.

This is a great capture of the bird in flight. Quite sharp.

Agree with your self critic, but it is still track sharp, has beautiful colors and I love the spread tail. Well done.

Crisp detail and gorgeous color in head and scapulars, perfect catchlight. Feet look just a tad soft. You can really feel the speed of this bird - great capture, Axel, TFS!

I can testify this is not an easy capture, so I'd be very happy to have it in my files :)
