It does not have a nice clean bg but at least there are no intersecting branches. I removed and toned down various bits and pieces and cropped to a more horizontal to remove other distractions.

Beautiful bird with lots of detail and very nice eye contact. It appears like the bird could be slightly more statured as it appears a tad light on my monitor. Well composed although I would take a little off the top and a bit more on the right to bring the warbler even larger in the frame. Many thanks for sharing.

I like the soft light, angle and look-back pose. The BG is blurred enough and is not distracting.

The BG may not be "clean", but it is nonetheless rather appealing and offers a good glimpse of the habitat you found this warbler in. I'm just not crazy about the large leaf growing out of its head...perhaps darkening it a bit would reduce its impact. Good comp, and a perfect pose!

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

Here is a repost with the protruding leaf removed and a bit of sat. and contrast added to little bird. I felt a little uncomfortable about cropping so left as is.

Dave, I like the repost! The missing leaf makes the bird pop better against the BG.
