Croped a small amount from the right , as this was a full screen head shot. Very close shot.

Thks Big A, i have no idea what the red "Weirdo" is, probably some OOF debris... We crawled up on our knees, and i was actually worried that F16 wasn't going to be enough... TKS..Don

Fantastic image. Such excellent detail in the bird. Love the range of colours you captured in the bill. This is the sort of Shorebird portrait shot I aspire to take!

Wow great detail and color. I wonder about taking a little off fromthe left to eliminate the feeling of the bird coming from the side. I know that will put the bird more in the middle of the frame Just wondering. Is there a small area on the bill that is clipped?
    Great picture

Perfect head angle and good EXP. There's magenta cast to the image, more visible in the sand, but can be also seen in the whites. Adding some green in Color Balance will take care of it.
