    I love the sense of tension and balance in this image ... not unlike a ballet dancer.

    The bright, highly saturated background competes with my eye for attention. I would reduce the background to a ghost, so
    you know there's land back there, but there's nothing to draw your eye to it. Something like this ...

    Hi Mike. I like it! I find the pose very dramatic and engaging. The bird is sharp were it counts while the blurred wing tips provide a sense of movement. I like David's repost for the reason he states.
