    Default Golden-fronted Woodpecker

Here's another from Texas. I got this one at Bentsen Rio Grande State Park at a feeder station. The light was harsh and full of shadows so I did the best I could with some fill. Id love to hear how you think I handled the lighting conditions.

    Cheers!

The light looks good to me, but I'm not so hot with flash. I really like the colors and how the yellow on the branch goes with the yellow on the bird. I'm not sure about the clump of moss on the left.

Like the image, the bird is gorgeous and the BG is good. The clump of moss on the left doesnt bother me so much as the one on the right, I would crop some off if possible to see if it can be elimitated a bit.

Light looks good to me, Glenn. Rather than cropping the left, maybe blurring it a bit. The mass may make for a good frame. Gorgeous bird!

Glenn I guess you did a very nice job. The lights work for me as having in nice balance.
I also like the composition and the lovely bg.

    Great overall composition and background.
A bit to much flash feel for my liking though.
