Taken in the gardens of Costa Rica at Arenal early in the morning. There were not many birds visible to me at Arenal as I had a touch of sciatica and did not do a lot of walking but the hummingbirds were just wonderful.

Cute pose. Nice and Sharp. Don't clone anything. The bird sits nicely between the stems.

If your not opposed to altering , I would take out the one line on the left side. Stunning pose.

Interesting pose Judy !! Would have preferred being able to see the close wing forward/back Would take some form the top to move the bird away from the center area. Like the setting and overall feel !!

.... sure hope you feel better soon !!!!

i like the idea, pose and composition. it's a brown violet ear
a split second earlier might have gotten a better wing position

on my monitor i see quite a bit of sharpening artifacts/halos (back of head, breast, ...)

looks like you enjoyed chasing the HB's in CR

thanks for sharing and get well soon

Thanks to all for your comments as they are always very much appreciated. I chose this pose as I thought it was unique and interesting but I do have several with wide wing spans just preparing to land which I will post at a later date, Sometimes it is fun to be a little different and take a chance on an unusual pose. Costa Rica was beautiful but I plan to make another trip at the end of November ore the first of December when there are more birds and more photographic opportunities.

    Again many thanks
