Captured in Blue Cypress Lake, yesterday morning. It was VERY windy and my whole body hurts
Branch never made it to the nest, she lost in flight.
    Model: Canon EOS-1D Mark IV
    Lens (mm): 260 (100-400L)
    ISO: 640
    Aperture: 5.6

Cool pose, great sharpness, eye contact and unusual load. If anything, I might tone down the brightest whites a bit. It looks as if the bird should spend a bit more time preening. :)

She's a mother of three or four, no time for preening ;)
    Thanks!

Another beautiful capture Fabs....I think I know that bird. We are making the Ospreys of Blue Cypress Lake celebrities....an unbelievable experience. I keep going back. Sorry to hear it was so windy and choppy on the water...just have to go back again. We should put a BPN group together and take all the boats out.

Fabs I saw this one in FN and I loved it. You can not imagine how much envy we all have in Spain with your images of the ospreys because they are really shy here and very, very uncommon :)
