The striped keelback is a slender-bodied, non-venomous snake found throughout India. Frequents rice fields, ponds, bushes and gardens. It is very gentle snake and easy to handle. Found this small guy (about 1 foot in length) inside a resort. Had to lie down on the grass and managed to keep the eye in focus.

Hi Ajit Find snakes difficult to shoot and this looks mighty fine !!! Excellent low angle and point of focus, like the little extra room to the right in the direction the snake is looking. About all I would do is take a little from the top to eliminate the brownish leaf? Like it a lot !!!
Excellent image Ajit! Great to see a fellow snake charmer. :D Agree with slight crop from top and touch more space right. Gorgeous colors here mate, simply gorgeous. :)
