Spoonbill on Black
I would have to say that the spoonbill is one of my favorite species to look at. There are many great images of them posted here on BPN. I have only had the opportunity to photograph them once on a beautiful morning at estero lagoon. I hope to get a chance to shoot them again this spring.

Just gorgeous. I too find them amazing - definitely makes one feel as though they're looking at a real, live dinosaur.
