    I like the pose very much, and nice lighting on the eye and face. Clean bg makes this a very nice photo.

    Rahil- Great pose, head angle, and background. For my taste I need more room on top so that the bird doesn't look like it's in a room with a low ceiling. Also, with respect, I think the heavy black frame detracts from the beautiful subject. I would suggest no frame at all, just a subtle signature.

    A bit tight comp-wise, but overall nice IQ on this. Great pose with a perfect HA, and a good BG. I love the rufous on the rump. Some flash would have nicely lit the throat, belly, legs, and perch. I agree with John about the border.

    I really like the foot position on the perch. Agree that the border is detracting. Nice job overall.

    Here is the version without border and added some room on top of the bird.


    I have noticed that sharpness drops down drastically when uploaded to flickr whereas pbase maintains the sharpness as is. dunno why?
