I have spent the last week in the southern Appalachians to West Virginia at the new River neo-tropical Festival both birding and doing photography. It is a beautiful scenic area, the majority of birds that we observed were warblers. This Canada warbler was enticed down by recorded calls which was utilized intermittently and it came within 10 to 15 feet of us. Picture was adjusted in Photoshop and cropped. Nikon D300s and Sigma 150-500.

I like that there are more details in the repost. The lightening brought out some noise but that is to be expected. Dialing in EC +1 in-camera would have helped in this kind of light.
This definitely needed lots of +EC, and/or flash to avoid underexposure. The one thing you got going for you here is the great view of its' best fieldmark - the "necklace".
