Not a contest winner, but I like it anyway. Taken in natural light. I don't really like the look of multi-flash hummingbird photography. Even if I could afford the flashes, I would probably stick with natural sunlight.

Very nice flower, pose and BG. I would only sharpen the bird a bit more.

Way to go Aidan...very nice!! The extra subtle sharpening does make a difference. I love the lone flower underneath the hummer.

Your repost is rocking, I really like this image and light. I find the empty space on left a bit loose, I would suggest to add some extra canvas on right, just my opinion.
I would like to see it with a bit more of saturation...
Aidan, great image with a nice balance between flower and hummingbird. I too love natural light hummingbird images but they are difficult to capture, particularly here in the rainforest, where multi-flash is really the only answer ;) In any case, you did a great job with the natural conditions on this image!
