Hi Don,
Nice iamge! I agree with Judy that this is a nice pose. I see good details. I think your use of flash looks pretty good as the bird does not appear over flashed. Composition wise I would be tempted to add some room at the top to move the head into the rule-of-third postion. Of course this is my personal preference and is not meant to imply your presentation is in need of improvement. If your ethics allow I would also suggest removing the bubbles in the water.

Sharpness and eye contact look good. I wish the sun would have been behind you and I would have gone for a vertical to include the reflection.
