    Color and detail in the Bird are great. I might take som eoff the left side to move it out of center. BG is a bit dark as well.

    these are very pretty birds...exposure looks good and nice and sharp where it counts...pity about the perch :)

    Beautiful lighting ,color and detail Stuart. Great eye contact too. I would like to see a tad more canvas on the bottom and a little less on the left. Well captured and keep them coming.

    I wish there were more of them down south by me. Beautifully done. I too could go for more canvas below. Looks like it would also make a great vertical.

    Nice detail, and the reds aren't too bright - hard to achieve with Cardinals. I would prefer the bird a little more to the left in the frame, and more room below the tail, and it would have made an even better image if the bird had his crest more erect - but you can't ask birds to pose!

    Cardinals have been moving in here in southern Nova Scotia big-time in the last few years.

    Cool pose and details, I like the colors too just wish for a natural perch :)
