It was a cloudy day at the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica and hummingbirds were working the Verbena plants. Although I do enjoy hummingbirds at the set-ups, I find it more interesting catching them in action in natural light and natural backgrounds.

An interesting looking hummer and nice job on the colours.
I like the pose. It is a bit different front a side view.

Busy but beautiful setting. Just the right amount of wing blur to make it interesting. I find the image a little too yellow overall - easy fix via PS "Colour Balance".

Nicely captured Susan with lovely eye contact and detail.

I like the setting, too. Pose and eye contact look good as well. I would run NR on the BG and lower the color temperature a bit.

Well done under natural light. Colors look fairly true to what you see in CR
Particularly like the eye contact and detail in HB
Agree about running NR on the BKGD. Might try to slightly darken/tone down brighter stems in BKGD on left side
Did you consider cropping off some of the right side?
