    Dear all

Just back from 6 days family trip to Bandhavgarh and thanks a ton to tigers for keeping all of my promises I have made to my wife. Within span of 6 days she saw 29 tigers , 2 stalking tigresses , a sucessful hunt, 3 ultra tiny cubs and male tigers showing off. What a luck ladies with me were carrying

My camera was hijacked quite a no of times and I have never seen so many deers and monkeys in Bandhavgarh in last 30 months:eek::eek::D

was lucky to see cubs playing with mother and set of three cubs who lost their heads and went into water where huge snarling male was drinking water

More of habitat shots I am liking these days. Done with tight frames and thats why I am trying to put tiger with enough jungle in image. She is queen of Rajbehara dam area

Starting with tigress who was scanning grassland for foods and then she eventually made one attempt

    7D, 300/f4 , ISO 400 , 1/1300, f5.6 , HH , 90% of FF

All C & C are welcome and much appreciated

Harshadbhai, good enviromental image, and the tigress shows nicely above the grass. I like the light, and the colours of the grasses. Glad you and your wife had a good trip.

Works for me Harshad, good to see you now have competition at last. Perhaps you should have taken your wife along sooner.:D

I am really pleased for you, well done.

Nicely done Harshad. I like the differing colors and brightness of the grass. Also glad to hear that your wife had all those sightings with you. Easier to share your excitement about the place when they actually get to see them :)!

Love the way the tigress is scanning the horizon for prey, and the way she stands out against the greenish surroundings. Would love to see images from the successful hunt.

This is a lovely image, I really like environmental wildlife photos and this is beautiful with the depth of field and the quality of the grasses. Personally, I'd crop some off the bottom, but that is personal taste. Sounds like a fantastic trip.
