Most part of my flamingos images in flight are made in a place that can not be described as the wildest place in the world because is a wetland nearby to a very populated beach area in eastern Spain. The birds are really used to the presence of people and they are less shy than in other parts of Spain. My wife´s parents are living in a house that it is located at just 15 minutes by car and when we visit them I have a great oportunity to photograph birds very early in the morning and returning home to have the breakfast with the children. Just a perfet combination of family and photography ;)
In this image of the past year, my brother in law decided that we couldn´t wait for the breakfast and went to look for some donuts and hot coffee. I have to say that I would never guessed that one day I would be shooting flamingos with a donut in the hand but it was a nice experience :D

Juan, I must say, you guys in Spain brew some great coffee. I had a few of them every day. 'Un Cafe' was one Catalan phrase I uttered more than anything else :-)

Yeah, Barcelona is a fantastic city! I am sure that you enjoyed a lot with the buildings by Guadí. If you like architecture, art and birds do not miss this links http://www.falconsbarcelona.net/Falc...ines/index.jsp http://www.falconsbarcelona.net/Falc.../galeria1.html with amazing images of peregrine falcons flying in the Sagrada Familia cathedral by Gaudí. :)

Juan, yes...indeed it is a fantastic place. Gaudi's work is extraordinary, to say the least. Thx for those links.
