    I like this image better than my previous offering of this species.

    D300s, 600VR, 1.4tc, ISO 400, f/9, 1/800th SS

    I did not see the other one. :) Head angle, sharpness, and perch are all good but the scrunched up, angled to the left, no right foot showing, over the shoulder pose leaves me lacking.

    I love this one. The right foot would be a great addition, but still a wonderful image. Thanks for sharing!

    I like this species very much since it is not an 'usual' here in Mass.
    The image is very nice, just a bit of HA and eye contact would make it even better.
    'Over-the-shoulder' pose is tough, not bad but difficult :)
    I think fill-flash would help with the shadow too.

    Lovely Bg and pose, I do not mind the over the shoulder pose.
    I do find the bird a touch big IMO.
