I took this image at sunset recently and tried to make it look like an Old Masters Painting but I arrived at it in
a strange way - First Cezanne, then Chalk in Dap, and masked back in details, then Nik Sunshine, then sandstone
texture, the I applied this filter http://www.flickr.com/photos/2780555...7609803359307/, then added a frame that I modified from free-photo-frames.com

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated:)

Very moody image Cheryl, I like the direction of your images lately. I might try to get a touch more detail in the eye.

unless you're going for a silhouette effect, I agree that putting a tad more light on the face would help.

Nice feel Cheryl. I think the frame compliments the image nicely. I like the composition and color palette. A lovely painting.

I like this very much and agree with a little more detail in the eye would enhance the image. Love the composition and mood of the image, very nice.

    Nice image and application, Cheryl.

I would agree with Denise and Michael on the head lighting. But nice image.
