Lots of detail here Denise, and a super comp. I like the posture showing the underwing nicely, and the food item a bonus. Lovely BG colours too. Well captured.

Fantastic Denise! I love the overall pose, and especially the right leg/talon and how it's holding the catch. That background is awesome as well... I've always liked two toned backgrounds like shown here.

    Denise;

Lovely image, like the pose, comp, perch, action, sharpness.

A few warmish(;)) areas on the whites on belly and leg, but really a fine image.

    Congrats!

Wow! Excellent, Denise- I've not had a crack at these guys yet. The namesake prey really makes this, and of course the sharpness and detail.

I really like the wing position and feeding behavior. The whites do look a little bright. I wish he was on a more natural perch.

Great catch, Denise. I have a few Kite images with snails from Jim's boat but nothing that approaches this. I like the pose, the detail and the beautiful bg.

Another great image, Denise. Love everything about it. Good idea to up the iso to obtain the shutter speed, must have been challenging !

Phenomenal detail. I don't consider the removal of the bands as necessary and would be intrigued by the knowledge obtained from them.

    Really lovely image.
Agree about the whites, did you try to recover in ACR?

Denise this one is just a fantastic shot, superb action, sharpness and nice OOF BG. I really love it. I think that the image is abit on the cold side of the spectrum and that some toning down of the BG and color boost made help to make this one even better. Big congratulations for such a fine capture :)
Of course, working with the RAW file would produce a better result than mine (let me know if you need help with the processing)

Love ours. It's great that you can see a more of the dorsal surface of the far wing than in my similar images. The lightest tones and the COMP look perfect to me.

Juan, Good to see you here. The repost look a bit too warm and contrasty for me. :)

I appreciate everyone's comments and advice.
Bob, I have another pose w/ a slightly different wing position that I may post w/ the bands on.
Ilija, The tiff file is fine-so I am going to leave it. Thank you .I appreciate it.:)
Juan, I think that maybe I could warm it up just a bit. Nice to hear from you.:)Thanks.
Artie, I know I posted a copycat image that you already posted:pbut I really did like it.:)

The original shot looks great to me, Denise. The repost by Juan will appeal to people who like this type of presentation but the original is far better in my opinion.
