Default Greetings from the Pacific Northwest

    Hello everyone.
I have been photographing birds off and on for about 15 years now. (Hard to believe its been that long).
I primarily photograph in our local Wildlife Refuges in my local area here in Washington state.
I was able to spend a lot more time out in the field when I was single and now fit my excursions in
around family and kids. Fortunately for me my wife really enjoys birding too.
This really looks like a great site and hope to learn a lot and share what I can. Hoping to spend a lot of time here
when Im not out trying to get that elusive perfect shot.
From what I have seen there are some fantastic photographers here and some amazing images.
Glad to be here and see ya in the field.

    Thanks Daniel.
I will post some of my pics soon.
My biggest problem is most of my really good work is on slides. I used to shoot a ton on Velvia and Kodachrome 64. I will have much much more once I convert those slides to digital (eventually). :(
