    I don't usually like the sky as a background but it works here for some reason. Maybe it's the pretty blue against the pink....either way, well done!

    Sharp head and excellent detail on the wings makes it for a flight image for me.
    Eye contact is very good too. Like it a lot.

    Beautiful colors, details, and those wings are magnificent.
    I know nothing about how this bird looks in flight, but its right wing confuses me. Is the neck actually between two wing feathers? The top half of the right wing has passed over the neck? Can't be. Or, wait, makes more sense if the feathers are actually parted some thus allowing the neck to show? That must be it. But my simple mind doesn't like to be confused thus :)

    I agree with you if it is just plain blue sky. I always try to bring the white clouds too to make it interesting. The soft light helped me.
