    Today I found the avocets I was looking for yesterday. I liked the muddy foot, the dirty end of its beak and the "apparent reaction" to its reflection. Is the crop right? Would you include the reflection?

    I think the crop looks fine. Personally I would leave a bit more room at the top though. Other than some hot spots, this one looks good !

    Hi Wendell - looking good - some maybe hot spots - easy fix in PP.
    Like the pose and the action - BG looks good.

    Hi Wendell, I like your image. Agree with hot whites observed above. I'm OK with the space above the bird, but would show more water at the bottom. Nice job!

    Hi Wendell Desmond nailed it !! Agree on all points !! btw for the whites you need soft light and there is not much you can do !! .. in PS you could slect the whites then multiple etc but its a pain and results not always what we want !! Do like the image as presented and you did real well !!!

    .... btw regarding the room up top, with reflections don't mind having a symmetrixal image
