    Don:

Sharp, well exposed with great breeding colors.

I find the crop a bit awkward? Not that you have many options for looser, but in a perfect world I would prefer a bit more below, and perhaps a bit less on right.

I posted a white morph a couple of years ago, similar pose, and tried several variants of that crop as well.

Nice when they come to you!

Thks Randy, i agree! I mainly wanted to show this dude! Man, i'd never seen this before, and almost wet my pants!!:D
Really do wished i'd captured a tad more room under this guy... however it was in my face, and moving on!

I would have to disagree with randy regarding sharpness. It seems to lack, especially around the eye.

Sounds like an exciting time! The colors are captivating, and full frame is always a bonus with birds. :)

I think it's very well done and maybe even a tighter crop would be nice with an extreme close-up look to it?

Focus seems to be at the body, and around the neck. The head is a bit soft.

Right, Troy. I was thinking a bit of front focus too.

HI Don, The image does look a little soft especially around the eye so I did some selective sharpening on it and the rest of the Egret I also added canvas to the right and re cropped the image. The crop is a matter of taste so might not work for you but when doing a portrait type image I like to get rid of the legs.
