The first one. I prefer the way it flares at top right (I like the dettached petal up there) and has a better "fluid" flow overall. The second just doesn't feel balanced properly IMO. Both feature awesome details and appealing colours:).

I'll go with the second images, a little cleaner comp.

My vote is for the second because of the cleaner comp. Beautiful colors. :)

I go with the second. Agree that its cleaner. Both are very nice. I think whatever is going on in the upper right of the first one is a little distracting.

Both have beautiful colors and details but I also like the second image.

It is a very close call. I select the second version — largely because of the red area in the background at approximately the 3 o'clock position in the first version.
    These are beautiful images.

Definitely the second. The stuff going on in the URC is very distracting to me. The bottom image is cleaner and puts my eye in all the right places. ;)

Definitely the second but there are lots of cropping possibilities with this shot. Whatever you decide, this has a lot going for it.

I prefer the second crop, but, unfortunately, the bg in both bother me. It distracts me from the lovely tulip and seems to clash.

Anita, I appreciate your thoughts. I do love the BG and it is one of the things I do like most about this image. It is funny how people view things so differently.:)

Apparently I'm a minority of one re. the bg in this image. I'm glad I can express my views without them being taken too seriously.

    Hey Denise,
Second for me too....because of the RH side. Tried a crop...centered the image too much.

Denise, I scrolled up and down and up and down and thought I liked the first the best. To make sure and to see them on the same page, I minimized the view and I definitely like the first best. I think the curve of the petal on the right hand side makes it more interesting. Love the colours and texture in this.:)
