Looks to me like you added a bit of sky above the gull, which is cleanly done in itself, but you haven't squared the top edge of the image.
Nice gull! I like the wing position and the black & orange details on the beak tip. I don't think I would have scored on this one as I probably wouldn't be setting -0.7ev against the sky.

    regards,

Good point about the sky, I also see a white line at the wing tip, not sure if it's feather or some PP.

Nice details and sharp, wish HA is turning toward the viewer more.

I think Gerald's hit the nail on the head! Very nice image. Exposure and details look great. Your gulls are very angry looking down there! What are you feeding them? ;)

I was looking at the bird and missed what Gerald called out. Nice looking bird though.

You've certainly given us a hard one to have a go at this time!

I d/loaded it into PSE, I hope this was allowed, and can see the tip of the vertical wing as been rebuilt. So I'm gonna guess that you've clipped the top of the wing in this image and have stitched the tip on from another image.

Greetings... Ah, Mark has it... up close (pixel-peeping) there is a small line in the left side of the wingtip (through lighter feather) that on close inspection tells the addition. Kinda sticks out once you know it's there. Some painstaking blending still ahead to "clean-up"...

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Yep you got it Mark :)
Clipped the wing tip - added some canvas and fixed the wing tip - Cleanup and blending in still to be completed.
    :)
