    Default Sandhill Cranes

Taken at Indian Lakes Estate in Florida. I added a DAP(Dynamic Auto Painter) pencil filter to this. And a frame. Not sure if the frame adds to this but I wanted to give it a try. Let me know:)

    Hi Denise,
I love the effect on this from the green down to the bottom - I find the sky a little distracting
but others might disagree. I like the frame :)
    Best,

    Nice image and application, Denise.

I like the Floridian "Snow capped mountains" in the BG! :D

I would have chosen a darker color for the frame, close to the dark grass area just behind the birds. But ... your image ... your vision. ;)

Very nice, Denise. :) Love the colors and effect. Looks like it could be a drawing in colored pencils. IMO the frame adds nicely to the image.

Denise, I love the effect on everything but the sky. I like the frame and the way the chick is peeking around:)

    Denise,

I like the composition with the adult checking out the photographer and the youngster hanging close until Mom or Dad gives the okay. Very cute moment - made me smile.:) The treatment with all the spikey brush strokes is perfect for the grasses, but maybe not so much for the sky. I think maybe running a different program for the sky, something more "dauby" if that makes any sense, would look better. Then you could just overlay it, mask out all but the sky and have both. I like the frame.

The original image is adorable, with that little crane's pose. The pp works really well. The frame holds the image nicely.

I think the frame needs to have some texture as well, to match the image.

Nicely done! It seems the effects match the subjects nicely.
