    Captive owl shot at David Hemming workshop last weekend. Believe to be rare owl from central america. has a crab diet. Hope you like C&C Encouraged

    Hey Neighbour (I'm from Creemore).

    Looks quite good to me, probably could have used some flash fill though. Nice detail in the feathers and expression. The background is really nice.

    Never see this species before, TFS. Love the lazy look of the owl. Might try to lighten the eyes and run NR on the background.

    This is a new one for me. Agree with the above comments: some more room to the left, maybe even all around; and some brightening of the eye would help. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Dan - agree with the above comments - Cool bird.
    Looks like the point of focus may not have been on the head / eye area - the feathers towards the bottom of the body appear to be sharper.
    Image just needs to be lightened a bit - the eye's adjusted and some NT on the BG.

    Here's a real quick and dirty idea (Im at work and dont have access to all my programs) - just so you get the idea - there is lots of info in the educational resources forum - or Arties Books are great.
