Debated about posting this since I took it in late Summer 2008. Focus seems to be on the shoulder/neck rather than the eyes. 40D, 400DO + 1.4xTC, f6.3, 1/320s, ISO 1600, braced on car window sill, cropped some off the left (as viewed).

Nice looking buck Steve. Like the varying colors throughout image. Focus does appear to be slightly off eyes, but it is not to bad at this size. Another nice high iso image from you. TFS

Hey Steve, nothing wrong with the quality, or the focus point, as the buck is sharp throughout. Good placement in the frame, with a good eye level perspective. Lovely surrounding vegatation too. Well captured.
Steve,
Colours look nice. The composition is fine. Any noise reduction? Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Lovely image. I like the detail and colours and the vegetation works beautifully. High ISO handled well!
Hi Steve, I really liked the colours, and the angle..the line on the pronghorns flank compliments the color line in the vegetation behind him.

Hi Steve, a very fine image with bags of colour & detail, amazing considering the high ISO. It would give some of the big guns out there, a run for their money.

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Really like the soft light and the colors of the surrounding vegetation.
Thanks for the comments.
Sabyasachi,
NR was run on the image.
How I wish I could see this in bigger size , excellent image

love seeing your pronghorn images Steve. I find the image as posted a tad small to give constructive critique, as at that size it all looks in focus and noiseless :)
