    Default Black -tailed godwitt

Today I've made this picture of a godwitt. The light was hard but still a nice picture .
I was lucky because he was near by for a nice shot.

    Good or not?

Works for me the chick is adorable and I find the grassy BG adds a nice sense of habitat without overpowering the subject.

Hi Willem, Good or not? Well if my opinion means anything, I like it. Your exposure looks good and the bird is sharp. The chick looking back towards us provides a good view of the face and eye contact. I also find the overall composition pleasing as there is just the right amount of space around the chick for my taste. The grass helps provide me with a sense of scale for the little chick and it's color is complimentary to the subject. Well done and thanks for sharing.
