This is another one from Spitsbergen. In the middle of the night, 3 am we got woken up by one of the local scientists we jumped into our clothes and ran outside only to find several arctic fox pups fighting over an Eider duck female carcas that was just as big as them, unfortunately we had some terrible light so I couldn't really freeze any of the fights. I did manage to freeze this shot of one of the foxes trying to get away with the kill. It didn't succeed......

Nice colors, detail, and comp Krijn. I also like the glint in the eye and the "square" comp of the pup and the duck carcass with the parallel tail and whatever parts of the duck on the ground.

Excellent action captured here Krijn! I agree it would have been even better if you could have seen the fox his legs....the colours look a bit on the cool side...besides that a really fine shot to be proud of!
