Hi Desmond Those are the tough ones to trash since they show a special behavior, particularly catching a neat fish !!! Would actually keep as an environmental for illustration !!! A tight head shot would have been nice ...600VR and 2X :)

Hi Desmond, I wouldn't trash it. It's a representation of a GBH in its environment feeding. While there are is alot going on in the image it has merits for other reasons...

I agree with the other two.. I would keep it. It is showing the GBH in it's feeding environment.. Especially with the fish in it's bill..

    I vote "keep"

    I'm keeping it.

Not all photographs need to have clean, empty background to be useful. I bought a copy of Africa Birds & Birding magazine a couple of weeks ago (why they're selling it here in N America I don't know), Chris Van Rooyan has two articles in it. One is on shooting bird in flight and the other one describes one of his outings. His photographs in the latter article are not exactly the same as those that he has posted here, I think.

    Thanks for the comments !

Hi Desmond. Late looking at this; personally I like it. Good position in the frame, good head position, and great catch. Like the habitat, albeit a bit busy. I would certainly keep it if mine.
