I would have to let it go. The fence and rear view are a bit too much for me. :)
Disclaimer- I'm a delete-a-holic!
Trash it...based on what I've learned here, i.e., wrong head angle, no eye-contact, pancake-like wing position, subject too centered and not big enough, bird heading away, etc. The fence and wires don't help here, too :)
Are the moderators giving us tests here? :D
.... actually I was really thinking on what to do here and to give you a hint I wasn't sure of putting copyright !!!
I would only keep it if it was your sole image of this species.
If there was a different habit or behavioural element in the image that would add some sort of context or enhancement, like it was being chased by a Leopard, or flying into a sunset, then it might be worth keeping, but not as it is.

Al, usually if this is from a batch that has about 4-5 decent ones, I would ended up deleting it. On the other hand, if I do not get any decent shots at all, I ended storing them away.
Is that a Bald Eagle?
Really like the BG and the DOF....very crisp with a teleconverter...shows your expertise....but for me it is not a keeper with the bird going away from you and no detail on the wings and tail

Trash it. Even if it were much closer with perfect technicals. Basically, trash any shot of the 3/4 rear view of an animal heading away from you. Unless of course it is of the Loch Ness monster or the abominable snowman :)
Tom
I would trash it. It does nothing for me. Anonymous bird, butt shot, so-so landscape. Not much to like here. Reminds me of many of my images.
I say bit bucket, to keep most of mine company... :D

Hmm cant fool this bunch AL ;)
Al, why would you keep this? It looks like one of my shots.:D
Have to say I agree, would be in my trash if it were mine :)
Will go to trash About the only reason I kept it around for a while was the fence, grass and bg Looked sort of pretty but needed a good bird !!
We found the juvi cara walking around but it was backlit and did not get any good images at all, this I took as the bird was flying away ... and it was the first and best one :)
Might keep for a DC minus the bird just for the bg !! Will see what I can come up with !!!
Al,
It would be nice as a screen print for a T-shirt:)
