    Default New experience for me...

I'm usually in the Eager to Learn or Avian forums. I got some stuff today that I thought might fit in here though.

I'm anxious to see what you guys have to say! I have a few like this, couldn't decide which to post.

    7D, 500mm, f/11, 1/20 sec, ISO 100

Colin, Big welcome to OOTB! I like the motion blur on the wings and the clear head. I do wish the entire wingflap was in the frame w/ a bit more room on top also-but I do understand the degree of difficulty here. Very nice pose, HA and snack!:)

Thanks Denise! I have a few others where the wingflap is in the frame. However, the eye isn't as clear. There's about 99% of this type of shot that's just luck!:)

Hi Colin. Welcome to OOTB! Excellent motion blur, and very nice pose and colors. You might be able to copy the eye from this image onto one that has the whole wingflap. Just a thought.

Thanks, Christopher. My initial response to your suggestion was, "My ethics don't allow that!" Then I remembered, this is the OOTB forum! :) Thanks!

    Nice image and application, Colin.

Welcome aboard. Hope you stick around and let us learn a few things! ;)

Agree with the left border crop, but otherwise a very nice image.

Colin, welcome to OOTB:) It's an excellent motion blur and I think the colors are lovely. I'd love to see more!

I really like the first one! The eye is nicely seen, the blurred area is soft and swirling and the colors are just beautiful.
