Wow! That sure is a huge nest!! I like the compostion of this image, but I'ld like to see more of the nest included. It's pushed to the side, but I think it's a key element of the image.

Nice sky in the BG. In addition to the nest, you also got a good pose for the eagle. I like the one popping it's head up too! :)

That is one large nest !!! Agree with Mark about seeing more of the nest itself !! Sure wish you still have access to this nest and get some birds flying around it !!! Excellent !!!

You're so lucky to get a shot of these eagles! Just wondering, Bob, why you didn't zoom in to 400mm to get a tighter shot of nest, eagles, and some surrounding space.

I quite like this one. Perhaps should have zoomed out a bit? I would prefer the eagle facing more towards the camera side though.

Hi Bob, different view that shows the habitat and is not distracting. I too would like to see more of the nest and a slightly turned head. Overall you handled it well!

    Nice capture...

here is me taking pictures of Swans in London and you get these beautiful birds, just doesnt seem fair!

If it were me i think i would have aimed down to the right slightly and maybe zoomed a little closer to focus on the nest and birds while trying to keep a chunk of sky in there.

    so envious...

    Bob,

Love the tree limbs and Eagle pose - well done. One in the nest is a bonus.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I did not zoom on this shot because i was trying to get the whole nest and the gnarled tree as well. I have others where i did zoom which i have already posted weeks ago.
