    Nice action shot. Exposure looks OK (might have lost detail in the blacks), and the eye is sharp. I am thinking the bird might be too centered in the frame, and the BG looks noisy.

    I would love to be able to witness this scene!

    Hi JB Amazing the bird is going after the head in flight, I know they start at that end usually !!!

    Light was harsh and you did well, it is possible to extract some white detail in PS with Nik Filters, particularly tonal contrast !!! Could darken the brown areas and even all this light did not light up the dark feathers !! I find these birds like reflectors in the sun, only soft light will assure what we want !!! Like it a lot !!!

    Hi Rene, Only so much one can say but Al said it for me. IMO what makes this a keeper is the story.The suggestions will help the image...

    Rene, nice capture for sure, Very Sharp, frozen motion, all good stuff i too marvel at how the harsh light does effect the overall feel. Like everything, but that, however when you saw this in the viewfinder, i know the feeling... GET"R Done.
