    Gatorland early morning Yawn! I watched this for awhile waiting for an open eye, seems they can't do both at the same time, Darnnit! No changes made to image, with some slight sharpening.:)
    Specs:
    Canon 7d
    500mm plus 1.4 EX TCII
    F 6.3
    !/1000
    Flash ETTL -2
    Eval metering -.67
    ISO 320

    Hi Don Sweet image Eye is easy to fix, just darken the pupil Like the pose and clean bg !!! Big Congrats !!

    Hi Don Can select the eye (except pupil) and lighten/saturate some, then deselect and darken pupil ... with all selections do feather by one or two pixels

    ...btw should have used a slight curves to bring up the contrast on the red, had deleted image from PS !!

    HI Don...Great image! Like Al's repost showing just the pupil darkened....It sure makes a big difference! Nice clean bg and interesting behavior

    Hi Don - lovely BG rocks - love that tongue - wondering if the plumage needs to be darkened a little - looks a bit bright on my screen - could just be my screen.
    Big congrats - like it a lot!!

    Great shot, This is one of my favorite birds. It is a great shot. Once you fix the eye, would be awesome.

    Hi Don, Strong portrait with the tongue giving it alot of interest. Al did a great job on the eye which is all I thought needed a fix. Well done!
