Spring has finally sprung and new life abounds! These cute guys can't be very old. Definately worth getting down, wet and dirty for.

    Comments/critiques very welcome.

    kind regards.

Hi Stuart You bet is worth it !!! Love the idea of a low angle and having mom partly in the scene, makes it special !!! Wish they were arranged a bit different with the darker one further back !! With these is just getting down and taking as many as you can to choose later !!! Good exposure and sharpness !!! Like it a lot !!

Like the technicals. Like the moms chest/belly leg. Would like to see less of a jumble of those three chicks, so each is distinguishable from the other. Don't ask me how you do that ! :)

The low angle is great. I like the way you've interpreted the way the chick is looking up at it's parent.

Hi Stuart,Good low angle and like the view of the mother. Agree with others that I would have preferred more separation between the chicks....

I like how you decided to only show the mom partially with the chick looking up to its mother. This give a feeling of tininess to the image. The low capture angle is good, and the light shining on the chick help gain attention from the one in front, still I prefer the looking up one to be in front.

Thanks for the critiques. These must have been the laziest chicks! Wouldn't move a muscle for ages. Made me smile though. Was hard to get separation through all of the chicks at this distance through 500mm but agree with the 'problem' front one. Will be back next week to try again hopefully.

Thanks for your help. Hope it made you smile too.

    kind regards.
    Stu.
